A came over to my house on Sunday afternoon, for lunch and he bought TungLok and Swensen's mooncakes for my mom too! I know the TungLok mooncakes are nice. Heh. But sadly, the Swensen's ice cream mooncakes weren't that nice. I don't like the skin. *pouts* But the ice cream filling was very nice though.
After lunch, we went to my grandma's house. A had bought another box of TungLok's mooncakes for her. -smiles- It's sooo expensive though. I had discounts but he didn't. >< *sayang* Stayed for awhile, ate some buns and mooncakes and we left at 6.30pm.
Took a bus to IMM! Cos I wanted to check out Daiso. Bought some stuffs, like a folder for my postcards, and a file for our precious memories. =P
Grabbed some snacks and we were on our way to the Chinese Garden!
It was my first time there. Hee. So suaku. =X Too damn bad I didn't went last year. They had the Disney theme. :( This year, they had the World Wonders theme. Very pretty too! Took quite alot of pictures. Shall post them up when A sends it to me. ^^
Oooh. Sunday was our 2nd month anniversary. Heh. But we forgot to take neoprints! Argh! -stabs self with a blunt fork-
But it's ok, we're gonna take them this Wed to make up for it. And we're gonna catch the new Jackie Chan show, Rob-B-Hood.
A says he's NEVER missed a single show of Jackie's, so we're not gonna miss this one too.
The story seems pretty interesting, but the fight scenes should be worth the ticket lah. Besides, we're watching on a weekday, so...worth it! =D
For ne’er-do-well compulsive gambler, Thongs (starring Jackie Chan), there’s only one thing more fearsome than debtors at his doorstep – having to coax a crying baby. But what if the baby becomes his golden goose to fend off his debtors? Can he overcome his phobia of diapers, milk bottles and cloying lullabies?
Brought up in an impoverished family, and kicked out of school in his teens, Slipper found himself on the wrong side of the tracks despite being nimble-footed and neat-fingered. Spurned by his family and hounded by debtors, he is goaded by his greedy landlord (starring Michael Hui) to collaborate in harebrained heists. Together with the agile and opportunistic Octopus (starring Louis Koo), the trio kidnapped BB (starring Matthew Medvedev), the grandson of a tycoon. However, due to some unexpected glitches, they fail to hand him over to the triad as planned.
With the assistance of an angelic nurse, Melody (starring Gao Yuanyuan), the landlord’s baby-crazy wife (starring Teresa Carpio) and Octopus’s teenage wife, Pan Yin (starring Charlene Choi) , the macho men discover then joys of ‘Rob-B-Hood’. When they realize that the triad is after both the ransom and BB’s life, they decide to make their hostage their protégée. Cornered by cops and threatened by ferocious gangsters, this trio of incorrigible merry men embarks on a hair-raisingly dangerous and deliriously funny escapade to put BB safely back in his cradle.
