Ok, Deardear bought me this Looney Tunes booklet from 7-11 last year November. And we were trying to collect all 30 designs. Who knows how much we spent on those things. Haha. Deardear bought it for me because there was my fave Tweety in it and it's sooo cute!

So, we were hard at work collecting all the designs. Until the promotion ended, we were just lacking of ONE design! So sad can? =(

But Deardear's friend managed to get for us one whole box of the stuff. They were gonna throw it away anyway, and he knew we just needed ONE more! So, we brought home the entire box and look at the amount of packets we had to open!! 500!!

*apologize for the lousy picture quality*

Sadly, after opening so many, none was the one we wanted. Can you imagine?? 500 and not even 1 single one! *faints*

So...his friend gave us another few boxes! But...still have to open so many. =( Luckily his colleagues helped and one day, Deardear got it! Yeah~! So happy, so now the whole collection is complete! Hehe.
And we have ALOT of leftovers. Lol~

Complete collection!

My favorite design~ Christmas Tweety!

Our ROM present and big-ass card!

The BIG-ASS CARD. Super cute!

Guess what's inside...?

Open it up and...

Ta-Daaa!

A BEAUTIFUL Precious Moments globe, with the words:

A Kiss to Build a Dream On...

I LOVE IT A LOT!

Nice right?!

I think it's super beautiful! Thanks to his wonderful 'brothers' and GF~

More random stuff...we saw this CUTE car parked underneath my block, after dinner with his buddy and 'brother' on our ROM day.

Cute Piglet car!

My table @ workplace.

Couldn't find a Tweety table mat, so I used My Melody instead. I keep my calculator underneath my table so that it wouldn't clutter up my table...it's small and messy enough already!

And I'm officially allowed to use MSN at work OK?!

Ok, that's all. Deardear's gonna get off work soon.

And we're flying off to Bangkok on Tuesday! @ 6.30am... Zzz...be careful of zombies at Budget Terminal. Haha. Excited!!

Kz, I'm out!

Well, half a day actually, because I had a hard time waking up Deardear. T_T

We left the house at around 4plus to meet the photographer @ Balestier to get our pictures! But, he was late, so we walked around first. Bought tickets to Step Up 2 The Streets @ Shaw Plaza. We thought the tickets were gonna be cheaper but no...it was $9.50 each. Damn.
We had a light lunch at MacDonald's. Then, Deardear decided that he wanted to catch the midnight movie as well, An Empress and Her Warrior, because it's the kind of movie that he likes. But then again, we realised that we will have almost 3 hrs of free time between the time the first movie ends and the time the midnight movie starts. So, Deardear decided to watch ANOTHER movie in between. And I chose Be Kind Rewind. Cos it just sounds like the kind of movie that I'd like.

Then the photographer arrived and we walked to his car to get the pictures. Turns out that he is holding HIS wedding dinner tonight! Like, OMG, I felt SO bad that we were kind of rushing him to finish our photos. I had no idea.. But he wasn't done with the editing, so we only have like half of the finished photos developed. But it's OK, because I got to see the photos and I LOVE it! I look kinda awful in some of the photos but most of the time, I looked great! Hee. Love it love it love it! So, now we'll just wait PATIENTLY for him to enjoy his wedding and honeymoon and to finish our photos. =)

After that, we walked back to Shaw Plaza to catch our 1st movie, Step Up 2 the Streets.
I've watched the first Step Up and I loved it~ Love to see the dancing.

This sequel, though not as good as the first one, wasn't so bad actually. Lots of eye candy and a breathtaking finale dance in the rain. The MAIN reason I wanted to watch this movie was because of the dancing. The acting is so-so. But the dancing is awesome!
My favourite scene was when the 410 crew saw the clip posted by the MSA crew. It includes a dead fish. Darn funny. Watch and you'll see what I mean.
My favourite character has got to be Moose, played by Adam G. Sevani. His dancing is sick! And even though he looked nerdy, he was damn HOT when he was dancing. *fans self*

Look at what I mean.

Isn't that HOT?? I love to see him dance and he's so CUTE!
Anyway, I'd rate this movie a 3.5/5.

After the movie ended, we went for toilet break, Deardear has his smoke break and we bought popcorn. =D

The next movie we caught was Be Kind Rewind.

What a disappointment. =( I kept hearing this show being promoted on 98.7FM. I thought the movie plot was funny and fresh. But the actual movie was just kinda flat.. I love Jack Black but he was really annoying and not-so-funny in this show. -sigh-
But the movie does have some funny moments.

Like this scene.

Jerry: [sung, poorly, to the tune of the Ghostbusters theme song] When you're walkin' down the street...
Jerry: [singing] ... and you see a little ghost...
Jerry: [singing] ... whatcha gonna do about -
[more out of tune]
Jerry: Ghostbusters?
Mike: What? What is that?
Jerry: That's the Ghostbusters theme song.
Mike: No.
Jerry: I'm pretty sure it is.

Like...LOL!

I rate this movie a 2/5.

After that, we caught the movie, An Empress and the Warriors.

I've never even heard of this film before...there wasn't much promotion for it. But it was GOOD!
And it had Donnie Yen! I absolutely love him!
The only thing that spoiled the movie though, was Kelly Chen's speech. Her acting was good but her speech was NOT. She sounded very forced and unnatural. Just not suitable for a period drama. It just kinda ruined the movie for me. GREAT acting though. One of the things I love about HongKong movies is that their acting is normally better than some Hollywood movies but that's just what I think.
The movie made me cry...some scenes were just so sad.
Like the scene where Donnie Yen's army shields him from the bad guy's army and died for him.
Another scene was when Donnie Yen was ALONE against thousands of soldiers on the battlefield and he just kept slashing and fighting and not giving up.
If you are the soldier on the battlefield and you stabbed him with a spear, he will slash and stab you back with his sword and made sure you die. One word: FIERCE!
I don't have any videos though. Can't find them. And of course, no secret that my favourite character is Murong Xue Hu, played by Donnie Yen. The poor thing was in love with the princess but she has always just looked upon him as a brother. At least he got to see her kill the bad guy before he died.
Well, I give this movie a 4/5.

After our movie marathon, we went for supper at Boon Tong Kee, cause Deardear never tried it before. =) I missed their Crispy Beancurd. But the chicken wasn't that nice though. We wanted to try this Bak Kut Teh store too, but decided not to, cause we were full already. It was called the Founder Bak Kut Teh Restaurant and we noticed that it was always full of people every time we were outside the shopping centre. But, maybe we'll try it another day.

End of the day. It was an awesome day, love to spend time with my hubby. =)

It seems so surreal, that I'm married already.
Nothing much have changed, just an extra ring on my finger. Haha. =P

Got to have my dinner.

I'm out.

It started on Friday.

I took half day on Friday afternoon to go with Deardear to R.O.M to collect our marriage certificate for signing on Sunday.

At first, we didn't know that both of us had to go, so Deardear was supposed to go alone. Then the ROM person called me to confirm the timing, that's when I realised we both had to go down personally. Lol. So blur of us. =X

At the ROM, we saw this Vietnamese bride. How did we know she was Vietnamese? Because their names were flashed on this screen outside the solemnization room, and all Vietnamese names are almost similar. They have surnames like Nguyen, or names like Huong, Thuy, etc. Very easily recognizable.
And she was very pretty! Even Deardear said so. And she looked very happy, sitting there, holding her hand bouquet and she just kept smiling. So cute! Oh, and I liked her dress too. No pictures though. *haha*

Deardear commented that there was 1 less pretty woman available on the earth that day. And there will be 1 less handsome man available on earth on 16.03.08.

*faint*

Movies base on fantasy children books like this are all the rage now, aren't they? Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia and now this.

Caught The Spiderwick Chronicleslast week.

This was a fun and entertaining show. And creative enough. I believe most people would like it, from young kids to adults. It was filmed very well too.

I loved the main character, Jared Grace, I think he's so cute and utterly believable in this movie.

I give it a 4/5.

Caught
Horton Hears a Who! last night @ Causeway Point.

Good clean humor. The voice cast is talented! The show is hilarious and at the same time, you learn a lesson.

Even though you can't see them at all / A person's a person, no matter how small.

By Horton, the elephant.

Very meaningful quote which many of us can stand to learn from it.

I rate it 3.5/5

Caught Horton today. Nice! Very very cute. Haha. Will update more about it.

Met Deardear at Lavender today, he was there to change money for our Bangkok trip. Wee! So excited!

Had a nice Western dinner there, then made our way to Causeway Point to catch Horton.

Then headed back home. Nothing much happening today. =)

Yes, yesterday was our ROM date! We had it @ Peony Jade Restaurant at Clarke Quay.

Everything went smoothly and perfectly. =D

I was very tired though...because Deardear had a fever the night before, and I spent a few hours sponging his forehead. Only slept at 2am, and I woke at 8am! Earlier than Deardear. Heh. So dead tired. Felt so sleepy after the ceremony, and after lunch.

I went to the make-up artist's place in the morning, Deardear's friend chauffeured us around. Then Deardear went off to collect my hand bouquet, and met me at the make-up artist's shop.
The photographer also met us at the make-up artist's place, then followed us to the restaurant. We were very early though, so he suggested that we take a walk around Singapore River and take some pictures. I felt like we were taking our wedding pictures! Lol~ He was quite creative, but Deardear and me were like NOOBS at posing. Lol! It was very fun and yet very humid though.

Anyway, I will update more when we get the pictures. Can't wait!!!!!!

Caught 10,000 BC on Sunday night after Deardear's work. Went with his colleague, Jeff. He kept saying 100,000 BC. Lol!

11.30pm show @ The Cathay, the timing is just nice. =)

Hmmm..I think it's a pretty nice show. Lots of action and the fighting scenes were awesome. Not as awesome as the ones from LOTR though, nothing can beat that.

Story synopsis from their official website:

From director Roland Emmerich (“Independence Day,”"The Day After Tomorrow”) comes a sweeping odyssey into a mythical age of prophesies and gods, when spirits rule the land and mighty mammoths shake the earth.
In a remote mountain tribe, the young hunter D’Leh (Steven Strait) has found his heart’s passion – the beautiful Evolet (Camilla Belle). But when a band of mysterious warlords raid his village and kidnap Evolet, D’Leh leads a small group of hunters to pursue the warlords to the end of the world to save her. As they venture into unknown lands for the first time, the group discovers there are civilizations beyond their own and that mankind’s reach is far greater than they ever knew. At each encounter the group is joined by other tribes who have been attacked by the slave raiders, turning D’Leh’s once-small band into an army.
Driven by destiny, the unlikely warriors must battle prehistoric predators while braving the harshest elements. At their heroic journey’s end, they uncover a lost civilization and learn their ultimate fate lies in an empire beyond imagination, where great pyramids reach into the skies.
Here they will take their stand against a tyrannical god who has brutally enslaved their own. And it is here that D’Leh finally comes to understand that he has been called to save not only Evolet but all of civilization.

Storyline was good, but the show got a bit slow in the middle, and Jeff actually fell asleep! Lol~

My favourite scene in the whole movie was, when D'Leh wasn't cold hearted enough to kill the saber tooth tiger that was trapped in the hole with him. He decided to set it free, and as he approaches the tiger, he said to it, "Don't eat me if I set you free!". Or something like that. That scene was kinda cute and really funny.

I LOVE the main actress. I think she is SO freaking gorgeous.

She is Camilla Belle.
It seems she have acted in quite a lot of movies before but I've never heard of her before this show. Suaku much? Haha.

Here she is at a press conference for 10,000 BC.

Call me crazy, but I think she looks better in the movie.

Anyway, I rate the show 3.5/5, (Nice storyline, beautiful cast but maybe not worth it to catch on weekends.)

Went jogging again last Sunday. Didn't manage to go jogging for the past 2 weeks because I was sick. T_T

Finally felt better last Sunday. Deardear only started work at 2pm, so I woke up in the morning and went to the stadium myself. =D

But...luck wasn't really on my side. When I reached the stadium, there was already rain, but very very light drizzle. So I continued to change and started warming up.
5 minutes into my run, the rain started getting heavier but still tiny droplets, so I just continued to run, hoping it'll stop. But after a few minutes, it got heavier so I decided to stop. So, I just sat at the side and did some stretching. After deciding that the rain seemed to be stopping, I continued running and managed to complete 1.5mi! Yeah!

After Deardear's work, I met him at the MRT station and we went to Mustafa!

Directions to Mustafa: Alight at Farrer Park, Exit A, Turn right and go straight.

We bought some neccessities and tidbits. Heh. It was fun to just stroll around Mustafa once in a while. Hee. Deardear was really goofy as well, and that made the trip extra fun. =D *luv luv*

Well, will update again soon.

I'm out!

I am SO addicted to ANTM.

For the less informed, it stands for America's Next Top Model.

I love it! Love it so much that I've been finding all the old seasons of ANTM. Hee hee.
It's very entertaining. Though there's no way that I can be a model, I can watch other girls try. Heh.

Anyway, I'm going crazy. There's a malay wedding right below my block and they're slaughtering the Karaoke machine. OMG.

Save me!!

See, I love Drew Barrymore.

I think she's great.

I've loved her since I was 14 when I watched "Never Been Kissed".

I think she's really cute and funny. And just really endearing.

Love this quote of hers.
"I love women who have fought to the change the world and made a difference. I want to be one of them myself".

She's just amazing. Now, there's more reasons to love her.

She's donating US$1 million to the World Food Programme to help feed children in Africa. How amazing is that? She is also the Ambassador Against Hunger. And she's putting the money where her mouth is, and actually doing something. Sometimes, all words and no action just don't mean anything. But she is actually using her status and also her wealth to help a cause that she believes in.

Some may say it's just for publicity, but there are other ways to get publicity. At least, something good is coming out of it.

Let's see someone else, like Lindsay Lohan do something like that.

Yes, I'm STILL sick. T_T

Throat hurts and stuffy nose. It's been more than a week.

*sigh*

I remember when I was a kid, I used to like being sick. =X

Cos it meant that I could skip school and my parents and grandma would fuss over me.
But then again, it meant taking yucky medicine.

Now that I'm an adult, cannot like that already. And I'm way too paiseh responsible to keep taking MCs.

Almost everyone in my office is sick. And we're all not yet 100% recovered. Zomg. Passing the virus around. Hur, no wonder we're still sick. =X

Knock off time!

Wee!

I love it when 6.30pm rolls around.

It's not that I don't like my job, I do, I like this job more than any other jobs I've had. It's challenging enough and the people here are wonderful.

But imagine, from 8.45am every Monday to Friday, I'm stuck in the office. And I only get one hour off for lunch. *bleah*

I have loooong working hours. *sigh*

Thankfully, I do not need to work on Saturdays.

Anyway, Deardear fetched me from work yesterday, and we went to Bugis~ Had our dinner at this Taiwan cafe, which was behind Mos Burger. Hmm, the food there was so-so only. Nothing to brag about. After dinner, we went to stock up on our neccessities @ Beaute Spring. Love the shop, love the low prices even more! Hee.
We even signed up for membership @ $10 per card.

Did you know, they even have their own spa, b.s.p. at their Bugis and Bedok outlet. Hurhur, sounds cool, but I wonder if their spa's any good. I'm gonna try their facial one of these days, because I have a free welcome voucher! Shall update about their facial service when I go for it.

Ok, I got to go meet Piggy for dinner.

I'm out.

We had Ichiban Sushi @ Causeway Point on the 3rd day of LNY. Late updates I know. T_T

My fav!! The only thing I really knew how to eat. The crabstick was kinda different from the normal ones. What can I say? It's just delish!

Deardear's fav! Nicer than Sakae, according to him and me! I tried a small slice, the flesh was firmer and not as slimy as the ones @ Sakae. Still not one of my favourites though.

Us! Deardear enjoying his food.

What a stupid idea.

Check it out, designer Antonio Berardi has come up with the world's first heel-less high heel.

WTF?!

It sounds pretty ingenious on paper though. But, when you look at the final product, it's just plain stupidity manifested in a pair of stupid looking shoes.

Isn't it gonna cause more harm to our bodies than regular heels?? I mean, there's no support at all at the heels area.

Could anyone be so stupid to actually wear them? And they don't come cheap either. A hefty £1800!! *faints*

Apparently, Gwyneth Paltrow, Uma Thurman and Posh have already picked up a pair. God, why waste perfectly good money?!
I just can't fathom what's going on in their mind.

Just updated my template. Found it on Blogskins.com.

Love it! Really describes how I think being in love feels like. At least, how it feels like when you're not quarreling, having cold wars or screaming in each other's face.

I feel lucky...lucky that I've found someone who is so similar and yet so different from me. Someone who compliments who I am, someone who makes me want to be a better person, but I hate it that that someone smokes. =X

And I'm telling you, you better quit asap. =X Or I'll kick you in your ass. *kidding about the ass kicking part* I just don't want you to waste all that money, and I don't want our future kids to have a dad that smokes. I know you're trying and I'll support you!!

It was our 19 month anniversary yesterday! But of course, we didn't celebrate. Haha, feels like an old married couple already! =P

Ok, so, gotta go get ready to meet Deardear for dinner!

Yeah, I have no life. So? I'm loving it!

Was looking through friendster... Saw the profile of a few of my friends from secondary school, from tuition class. They were all from the same secondary school, and they still remain close friends until now. While me, I drifted from them years ago.

And started thinking, like do guys maintain friendships easier than girls? Cos Deardear has a bunch of friends that he knew since secondary school too. They still maintain contact up to now. But me? I've never really had a close friend, or friends. Lost contact with all my primary and secondary friends. All.

I wonder if it's a gender thing or? Most probably not. Lots of girls manage to stay close too.

I think it's me. I'm just plain lazy to make an effort. It doesn't help that when I have a bf, most of time is spent with him. I wish I could have like a really really close friend, but that's just me, I'm not the kind to open up, spill my secrets or stuff. I prefer to keep everything to myself.

But now, I have someone to share with, Deardear. I guess, maybe my thinking is as long as I have him, I don't really need anyone else.

Way too dependent on him, I know. But that's just the way I am, I live for love.

Naive and perhaps childish... I dunno.

I love her and her music! Just a pity I never had a chance to go to one of her concerts before. And her kids are so freaking adorable! I love her new album too, btw. =D

Weird how I keep wanting to type her name as Britney Speras. Lol.
