Wee! A customer bought this for me ytd.
I put them in the fridge and forgot about it. Until just now when I was feeling a bit peckish. They are so yum! But I have no idea where he bought them... *happies*

Just a quick update.
Sitting at Pastamania, Cineleisure now, with Jimmy and Mr Toh.
Tomorrow, we're going to the soccer match between the old Malaysia Cup dream team (most of the members anyway) and a celebrity team (not sure what celebrities though) , together with Sis, who asked us along.
Sounds exciting?
It's all for a good cause. I'm sure most of you would know about the plight of Charmaine, this little girl diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The soccer match is organised by Rafi Ali, to raise funds for her to go to New York to receive a treatment that will double her chance of survival.
Any amount now will help. It's $10 per ticket for the soccer match tomorrow, which is only the price of a weekend movie ticket. So, why not? If we could, we'd donate more money... Mr Toh's aunt was also interested to help when Mr Toh told her of Charmaine's story. She is such a kind person. So we gave her the link to Charmaine's blog.
I have linked it up at the side, so do go take a look! Even if you are unable to donate money, you can click on the Nuffnang ads, but please don't spam~
I really hope they are able to raise enough money to send her for the treatment.
Jiayou Charmaine~
Today morning, while on my way to the bus stop, I switched on the radio to 98.7 FM and heard Mr Young and Ms Vendetta say something like Michael Jackson was an icon, a great performer despite all the accusations later on in his life, and that he will be remembered. They then played his song, "Man in the Mirror".
I was thinking to myself... "It sounded like he died...no way!"
I then logged on to Twitter on my Blackberry and saw all the tweets by
Trent and I knew it was true....
He was preparing for his concert in London.. Even though there's no way I'd be able to attend his concert, I was looking forward to the pictures. To see the King of Pop reign again...but now, he's gone, forever. King of Pop no more.
For those who are still talking crap about him, just let it go! He's already dead!! What more do you want?!
My heart goes out to his children, they're still so young...
He will be missed sorely by his fans all around the world.
Rest in peace, Jacko.
Wee~ Night Safari today with Sis! Hohoho...can't wait. =)
Oh yah, forgot to blog about this the other day.
After an apple has been frozen and thawed, it can't be eaten! It turns all mushy and stuff, yucks.
I was feeling like crap this morning.
But you cheered me up. Hee.
Called you and you were getting ready to go to bed,
(yes, at 11am. -.-) Then you pretended you were Piggy and talked to me in that cute voice over the phone, asking if it is true that we're going to the Night Safari tomorrow, bugging me to bring you to the Night Safari, saying you've never been to the Zoo or Night Safari before, I was laughing like crazy. Lol.
(Both of us are very childish, we love to pretend that we are Piggy and start talking nonsense in an act cute voice to disturb each other. *ashamed* ) Ordered MacD for lunch! Lazy to go ta-bao. Forgot to ask if there's any free glass. *auntie* =X
I hope we are going Night Safari tomorrow! I've never been there! *suaku*
I just realised this blog of mine has been around for 4 years, 4 months and 3 days.
It lasted longer than any of my relationships! Lol. =X
It has seen me through 2 relationships and seen me got married.
It has so so so so so so so so SO MANY memories of mine, both happy and sad.
And I have seen my writing style kinda evolved from childish to what it is now (dunno what to call it).
Thank you my dear old friend..
Happy 4 yrs, 4 months and 3 days anniversary!
Mr Toh using the lappie with Piggy by his side watching.
Haha, yah lah, it was me who placed Piggy there. Lol!

Wee! On our way to dinner @ Ramen Santouka, our favourite ramen place in Singapore. xD
We went pak-tor-ing~
First up, movie, @ Plaza Singapura~
Land of the Lost~Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into one and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world--a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost.
Sucked alongside him for the adventure are crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist (Danny McBride) named Will. Chased by T. rex and stalked by painfully slow reptiles known as Sleestaks, Marshall, Will and Holly must rely on their only ally--a primate called Chaka (Jorma Taccone)--to navigate out of the hybrid dimension. Escape from this routine expedition gone awry and they're heroes. Get stuck, and they'll be permanent refugees in the Land of the Lost. [Source]
Very funny and entertaining show, heehee.
For dinner, we went to Shin Kushiya @ Suntec as we had been craving for some yakitori.
I had a Yuzu Cooler and Mr Toh had a Mint Tea. Both drinks were nice, but the glasses were a little small.
We decided to try most of the Chef's recommendation for yakitori on the first page, plus a few other stuff.
($8.80) Foie gras with caramelised apples - First time Mr Toh's trying foie gras, he says it has a weird aftertaste. I find the taste so-so, perhaps I prefer it to be more crispy on the outside. Maybe the french style of cooking foie gras is better.
($4.20) SakeKawa Temaki (Salmon skin: Waitress's recommendation) - Hubby's dish, he loved it. He loves salmon but has never tried salmon skin before, and commented that it was very crispy and fragrant. Also, they did not skimp on the ingredients. Every bite had salmon skin in it until the very end.
($4.20) Ebi Tempura Temaki - My dish, I loved it too. The Ebi was fresh and not overcooked. The rice was just right. This dish was perfect to me. Did I mention it was my first time eating a temaki? =X
From here onwards, the standard just kinda dropped. =(
($2.60) Nikuzune Shiitake (Mushroom stuffed with meat, I forgot if it was chicken or pork) - Awesomely yummy. Juicy and nicely charred.
($2.40) Ton toro (Pork with wasabi sauce) - The pork was horrible. Way too tough, but I rather like the wasabi sauce.
($1.90) Meatballs - Mr Toh disliked the texture. But I thought it was OK, and I liked the taste.
($2.80) Asparagus wrapped in thin slices of pork - Nicely charred, but the asparagus was very thin.
($2.80) Ebi - Huge disappointment. The ebi was small, fishy and overcooked. The meat was so tough! I had this previously in the Vivo branch and it was so much better.
($2.20) Black pepper Chicken - Normal, quite nice.
($4.80) Hotate Maki (Scallops wrapped in pork) - The scallops were big and fresh, but there was a leaf in between the pork and scallops that had a weird taste that I hated. Mr Toh said it was good though.
($3.80) Isobeyaki (Meat and shitake wrapped in seaweed) - It was ok....it kinda tasted like the chinese ngoh hiong. But the meat was rather tough.
Fortunately, dessert was another good part of our meal. We ordered the KuroGoma Heaven which was black sesame ice cream ($7.80 -waitress's recommendation) and Konnyaku Coconut Jelly ($4.20)
The coconut jelly was very nice and refreshing.
Mr Toh loved the black sesame ice cream, he said it was good. But I personally found the taste too strong for my liking. This was actually my order, but I didn't like it, luckily Mr Toh did!
Service was good, but they forgot our last order of ice lemon tea. Perhaps they were distracted because the kitchen staff had just left and it was near closing time...but service overall was above average. The waitresses were friendly and knew their food! One even offered to help us take a picture, haha, maybe she thought it was some special occasion for us.
But we felt that the price we paid was not worth it at all.
*loves* Wonderful company but not-so-good food. =(
After dinner, we headed back home and rented a Dvd from the Play machine. =X
Sniper!Good show, but rather slow moving at times. Almost fell asleep several times. =x

We got a Thousand Sunny model a few months back~ For those who don't know, Thousand Sunny is a boat in the anime, One Piece. It's not just any boat though! It's Luffy and his crew's new boat~
At the beginning of piecing the boat together. All individually packed, waiting for us to fix it~ With my new Chopper (My favourite character in One Piece) handphone accessory on top. Lol~
Bits and pieces of it.
Hee, spot the little Zorro in the little room on top of the mast. My 2nd favourite character in One Piece, who was actually my most favourite until Chopper appeared!
The Sun head of the boat~
Ta-daa~ Finished product!
Side view~
It's super cute, but we'll only wait till we have our own home to display it. No space now..
Yeah! New and very simple layout!
And I just discovered how easy it is to edit the widgets! Like, so suaku can?
Been reading this
awesome blog that teaches us how to edit our own blog template!~
Then, got the lovely background from another
awesome site~ =)
Gonna keep playing around with it somemore...heehee.
The swine flu is getting around, and it's so scary. But luckily we do not have any severe cases in Singapore yet.
How naive of me that I used to think that Singapore won't kena... T_T
Remember to wash your hands for 30 seconds at least with soap and water to keep those germs at bay!
Something to lighten the mood:
Poor Piglet. I think I have to quarantine my big and small Piglets at home too. =X
Can't wait to get off work, am gonna go for a run with Mr Toh. He's sleeping right now, because he did not sleep at all last night. But me, I am feeling so energetic, because we slept till 4pm on Sunday and I slept at 2am yesterday. So I'm all bright and cheery today. =X
Dinner after that. But I'm feeling so hungry now. T_T Gonna go find something to bite first.
I have SO much stress and anger to VENT! *grrr* Sometimes my job sucks. Customers are so overbearing sometimes. =(
But having a very nice boss and manager makes everything just so much more bearable. So Imma suck it in and keep going!
Haven't been jogging for ages. I wonder if I'll even make it halfway to the market. =X
Saturday, we went for a picnic! With Mr Toh's family~The sun was rather harsh that day...I got a little sunburnt even though I was in the shade for like, 70% of the time! T_T We just lazed around, eating and chatting till around 4pm, then we left to go home to freshen up for dinner.
Dinner was at Seoul Garden, TM! I had the member card, but because I only collected it on Friday, it wasn't activated yet. But it's OK, we had the Safra card, still eligible for 10% discount!
After a very fulfilling dinner, we went for a movie~ We caught Terminator: Salvation (yes, again) because the rest of them wanted to catch it. Hee.
Met up with Daniel after that for tea~ But I got so sleepy and had a splitting headache, so we cut it short and went home~
Sunday, we slept in till really late! *oinks* After waking up, we ordered Rite Pizza to Dad's house~ Rite Pizza's mayo chicken is SO Good! Like, 1000 times better than Pizza Hut. Like, what use is a HOT pizza if it's not delicious?! No more Pizza Hut for us ever! Sunday was also to celebrate his little brother's advance birthday~ Just a simple cake cutting celebration. =)
Alright, it's getting late, I should be going home now.
Ciaos~~
I’m not talking about the Da Vinci exhibition. The Da Vinci exhibition was very interesting~ After that, we went to watch Sea Monster’s at the Omnitheatre. So many memories came flooding back! I still remember when I went when I was in Pri or Sec school and we were fighting for the best seats in the theatre. Lol~ The show was very boring though, and the narrator’s soothing voice put me to sleep a couple of times. =X
Yesterday, we went to the St. Regis wedding fair~ I tell you, the hotel is GORGEOUS!
I like the 3 wedding themes they offered, as well as the beautiful floral arrangements. Of course, the complimentary Bentley was a huge draw for us as well. Everything was going smoothly, until we tried the food. T_T We had a four course lunch but the food was not up to expectations. I do love how the beautiful individually plated dishes looked, but it was just not very tasty.
The roast duck we had tasted like cardboard. It was cold, very dry and tough. The shark’s fin soup was bad too! The chicken broth was very light, but the shark’s fin itself had a very gummy texture and a weird taste. The rest of the dishes was so-so, but service was very good. We also had a look at their rooms, and their rooms are very nice! I absolutely love their bathrooms. But no view though. The wedding show was so-so too, though I saw a few gowns that were quite pretty. Too bad we didn’t win anything at the lucky draw…a two nights stay at St Regis Bali would have been shiok. =P
Overall, the experience was rather fun. They also had some cute stuffs in the goodie bags. Heehee. It was our very first wedding fair! Maybe it’s a good thing their food sucks, because we had planned on holding our dinner at Mandarin Oriental. =X
After the wedding fair, me, Chris and Mr Toh headed to Modesto’s for some more food~ We had their calamari and Crudo (Italian parma ham) pizza. Yums~
Walked back to Taka, where Chris bought some stuff, then sat down at Haagen Daz for some banana split~ =D *happies* After Chris left for her dinner appointment, we headed for Tampines to watch Terminator Salvation with Jimmy. Disappointed!!! I felt that this fourth instalment of the Terminator wasn’t as good as the previous movies. I felt…let down.. =X
Oh well, Transformers better be good! =X
