It's really sad that such a disastrous event happened, and to such an impoverished country like Haiti.
Lots of celebs were present for this show spearheaded by George Clooney, answering donation phone calls, performing or just urging people to donate. All the big names, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Beyonce, even Bill Clinton and Muhammad Ali were present!
It is super heartwarming to see celebrities who has so much influence on other people take action, be it donating money or giving their time for Haiti and just being a positive role model.

Did you know that the majority of Haiti are children?
They need a lot of help and support to get back on their feet, and this support needs to go on even after this TV show.
One such foundation that has been helping them way before this happened is Yele Haiti, a foundation started by Wyclef Jean who's from Haiti.

Due to a lack of computers, I am sitting a distance away. But I am not complaining. Actually, I do not feel anything at all...hah. Just a tad awkward as I am blogging at a lan shop, something that I am not used to doing. Also, everyone else around me is either L4D-ing or Dota-ing.
I did try L4D once a few months ago, but I got really giddy after a while. FML. It was really fun and exciting! Too bad that I'm so weak...bah.
Met up with Sis and her cousin today after work. Subway @ Republic Plaza was having a 1-for-1 promotion for their anniversary. Mr Toh arrived later as he got off work late. After our meal, we headed to Drinking Place @ Boat Quay for some chillaxing. Her cousin has half a bottle of Martell there and he was nice enough to treat us. Sis has to stay up tonight as her cousin's getting married and she has to reach her cousin's place at 4am plus. Giving her an hour to prepare, that means she has to wake up at 3:30am. FHL. T_T
I think it's the first time that I went drinking so early, and leaving so early too! Me and Mr Toh left at around 9.40pm as he's meeting his friends for L4D.
I'm getting really bored...playing Facebook games and surfing net. Wonder what time they will end.
Looking forward to watching Hachiko on Sunday. And I wanna watch The Tooth Fairy too!
